2011年01月13日中国日报网-英语点津在我们的语言中，虚有美丽外表的女子通常被叫做“绣花枕头”或者“花瓶”。其实，这样的称呼并不是女性专属的。我们身边也并不缺少徒有其表、内里虚空的花样美男，他们就叫做man candy。
Man candy is a man who is superficially attractive to look at or a man who has an attractive appearance but who may be vapid and lack substance。
Man candy(草包美男)指外表很吸引人的男子；或者徒有迷人外表，但其实很无趣又没有内涵的男子。
For example:
Ken is a sweet piece of man candy, Debbie has to be told that looks are not everything。
肯就是个甜美的草包美男，我们应该提醒德比，告诉她外表并不能代表一切。
