Magical rime transforms Laotudingzi Mountain in Jilin
On Laotudingzi Mountain in Linjiang city – in Northeast China's Jilin province – a breathtaking phenomenon known as rime appears. It came recently after a rainfall, followed by a plunge in temperature on Oct 5. The rime covered the trees and grass, creating stunning scenery that resembles a fairyland.The blue sky, white clouds and rime on Laotudingzi Mountain form an enthralling landscape that captivates the hearts of all who witness it. In autumn and winter, mist condenses in the form of frost which engulfs the surrounding branches when it's hyper cold, creating the natural phenomenon.
