【用法】

(1) vt. to think or say that sb/sth is responsible for sth bad  责备;谴责；把……咎于;

A dropped cigarette is being blamed for the fire.

(2 ) blame sb for sth因某事而责备某人

She doesn’t blame anyone for her father’s death.

(3) blame sth on sb  把某事怪到某人身上

Police are blaming the accident on dangerous driving.

(4) be to blame       应受责备；对……负责

  If anyone is to blame, it’s me.
