“大片”不是“big movie”！“电影彩蛋”也不是“color egg”！

自疫情好转以来
不少挤压的春节档、五一档的大片都陆续开始上映
再加上现在的国庆档
那可谓是大片云集
业内人士分析，
随着电影市场逐步回暖，
更多大片将加快入场。
上半年积压的优质电影将扎堆上映，
电影行业有望迎来迟到的报复性消费。
不知道大家最近有没有特别推荐的好片呢?
大片的英文可别说成 big movie
电影彩蛋也不是 color eggs!


大片 ≠ big movie!

big是指尺寸大小
大片的“大”是指大制作
英语中可以用blockbuster来表达


blockbuster n. /'blɒkbʌstə/

a book or film that is very successful

(尤指因内容精彩而)非常成功的书(或影片)

比如说，
a blockbuster movie/novel 
电影大片/风靡一时的小说


例：
I'm looking forward to the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
我很期待最新的好莱坞大片。


大片的大制作有一部分体现在它的演职人员里
“演员阵容”我们就叫作cast

the actors in a film, play, or show

(一部电影、戏剧或演出的)全体演员

例：
Part of the movie's success lies in the strength of the supporting cast (= the actors who were not playing the main parts). 
影片的成功部分归功于强大的配角阵容。


彩蛋 ≠ color egg!A post-credits scene or mid-credits scene is a short clip that appears after all or some of the closing credits have rolled and sometimes after a production logo of a film, TV series, or video game has run. It is usually included for humour or to set up a possible sequel. The clip may also be called a credit cookie, tag, stinger, coda, button, after-credits sequence, end-credit scene, or secret ending.


片尾彩蛋或片中的彩蛋是在片尾字幕全部或部分结束后出现的一个小片段，有时出现在电影、电视剧或视频游戏的制作标志结束后。它通常是为了幽默或展示一个开放的结局。该片段也可以被称为信用cookie（小甜点），tag（标签），stinger（针），coda（尾声），button（纽扣），after-credits sequence（片尾序列），end-credit scene（结尾幕），或secret ending（秘密结局）。


彩蛋源自西方复活节找彩蛋的游戏，
是指电影中不仔细寻觅，会被忽略的有趣细节;
还有就是影片剧情结束后，
在演职员表滚屏时或之后出现的电影片段
(通常是一些幽默场景或是跟续集有关的情节线索)。


比较常见的说法有：
电影片尾的彩蛋= bonus scene/ post-credits scene
bonus的意思是“另外的优点;额外的好处”
scene就是“场景；镜头；戏”


例：

Is there bonus scene after the credits?
片尾有彩蛋吗?


电影正片出现的彩蛋= easter eggs/ mid-credits scene


例：
I watched the movie three more times to find some of the easter eggs that I missed.
我看这电影不下3遍，为了找错过的彩蛋。
