英国将给新爸爸10个月带薪产假 首相支持

　　According to "the Thaindian.com" on January 17, new fathers will be given up to ten months of paid paternity leave under plans outlined by British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg。
　　With backing from British Prime Minister David Cameron, Clegg condemned "Edwardian" attitudes to childcare and traditional family roles。
　　His plan was described by business leaders last night as a "complete nightmare"。
　　Parents will be allowed to divide between them almost all of the existing 12 months of maternity leave, the report said. They may even be able to split the time off into stretches as short as a few weeks。
　　At present, women are entitled to six weeks of maternity leave on 90 percent pay, followed by 33 weeks on statutory maternity pay of 125 pounds ($199)a week. Men are allowed two weeks of paternity leave, on statutory pay。
