According to the Telegraph on January 18, two 19-year-olds tried to use a blow-up doll as a flotation device in the Australian flood waters but failed. They had no choice but to wait for help when clinging to a tree. Finally they were rescued by police who warned them the blow-up toy was "not a recognised floation device"。
据英国《每日电讯报》18日报道，澳大利亚洪水来袭，两名19岁的青年竟然想到了用充气娃娃做逃生工具，不幸失败。万般无奈之下他们只能靠着大树等待救援。所幸二人最终获救，警方亦警告称充气娃娃并非“公认的漂浮器具”。
