New measures to facilitate life services '生活性服务业30条'出台

Chinese authorities have introduced a set of new measures to shore up the weak links in the country's life services sector and improve people's quality of life, according to a document published on Tuesday.
我国有关部门11月2日发布《关于推动生活性服务业补短板上水平提高人民生活品质的若干意见》。

The document puts forward 30 measures covering nine areas, including the promotion of services that help the elderly with their meals and other daily needs in major cities, so that such services will gradually cover over 80% of communities in five years, and support the private sector to participate in the development of urban childcare services.
意见包括9方面30项举措，包括推动大城市加快发展老年助餐、居家照护服务，力争五年内逐步覆盖80%以上社区；支持城市利用社会力量发展托育服务设施等。

The document stressed the importance of efforts to strengthen the supply of basic welfare services, increase the supply of inclusive life services and vigorously develop community services for the convenience of residents.
意见强调，要加强公益性基础性服务供给，扩大普惠性生活服务供给，大力发展社区便民服务。

Measures to shore up existing weak links include improving community-level service facilities, providing large-scale vocational training programs, and creating a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment.
意见提出一系列补短板举措，包括推动社区基础服务设施达标，开展大规模职业技能培训，打造市场化法治化国际化营商环境等。
