Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope, also dubbed the "China Sky Eye," scientists have identified 509 new pulsars, which is more than four times the total amount of pulsars identified by other telescopes around the world.
科学家已利用中国天眼(FAST)发现509颗脉冲星，是世界上所有其他望远镜发现脉冲星总数的4倍以上。

Located in a naturally deep and round karst depression in Southwest China's Guizhou province, FAST started formal operations in January 2020. It is believed to be the world's most sensitive radio telescope.
FAST位于中国西南部贵州省的一个天然深圆形喀斯特洼地，于2020年1月正式运行，被认为是世界上最灵敏的射电望远镜。

Based on data collected by FAST, scientists have published over 120 papers.
据悉，目前基于FAST收集的数据发表的科研论文已超过120篇。

With the help of the advanced telescope, Chinese research teams have become a key force in studying fast radio bursts.
