How the US weapons industry cashes in on war

Since the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, almost all parties in the world are calling for an early ceasefire through negotiations as the conflict has deteriorated the humanitarian situation in the region and dealt a blow to the world economic recovery, with one exception. Major US weapons contractors are profiting just like they did for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are expected to secure huge checks as a consequences of military aid to Ukraine and defense budget expansion in the US and European countries.
