Imagine nearly 100 million butterflies unfurling their delicate wings and taking to the air all at once. What a spectacular sight that would be!

From May 18 to June at the Honghe Butterfly Valley in Jinping county in Southwest China's Yunnan province, residents and tourists can witness what is described as the "butterfly explosion".

On May 22, from 2:30-3:30 pm, a live broadcast will reveal the spectacular natural phenomena of nearly 100 million butterflies taking flight.
