Recently, the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces in Yuanyang county, Yunnan province, has entered its best viewing period, attracting visitors from all over the country, according to a report by news portal Chuncheng Evening News.

The terraces, built along the mountain slopes, resemble thousands of scattered silver mirrors when filled with water. When the golden sunlight pierces through the clouds and pours down, the shimmering terraces appear like a palette of the Earth.
