　　在众多水果中，苹果是最常见的一种，它口感好，营养丰富，因而受到人们的偏爱。在英语中，“apple”这个词也蕴含着丰富有趣的意思，今天我们就来学一些有关“apple”的俚语表达。
　　1. apple of one's eye 掌上明珠、心肝宝贝(指某人极为珍爱的人或物)
　　例句：Grandfather always made the most fuss of Gillian; she is the apple of his eye。
　　祖父总是极其宠爱吉林恩，她是他的掌上明珠。
　　2. apple-polisher 马屁精
　　例句：John is such an apple-polisher, he always agrees with whatever the boss says。
