　　PBS announced Wednesday (July 2) that "Sherlock" Season 4 is in the works, plus a special episode will air prior to the fourth installment of the popular detective series starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman。

　　PBS电视台周三宣布《神探夏洛克》第四季拍摄工作正在进行中，这部由Benedict Cumberbatch和Martin Freeman主演的热门侦探剧第四季将会有4集，其中包括1集特别集。

　　Executive producer Steven Moffat says in a statement, "A special, plus a new series of three episodes Of course, it's far too early to say what's coming, but we're reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John, is the very last thing you'd expect."

　　执行制片人Steven Moffat在声明中说，“新季除了3集以外还会有一个特别集。当然现在说第四季会发生什么还太早了，不过我们非常有信心接下来发生在Sherlock和John身上的故事将会是观众们所期待的的。

　　Shooting for the special will begin January 2015, with Season 4 shooting later in the year. There is no premiere date yet available for either。
