钱不是万能的：


1. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.
时间比金钱有价值多了，你能有更多的钱，却不能有更多的时间。
2. If you want to know what God thinks about money, just look at the people He gives it to.
如果你想知道上帝对钱的看法，只要去看看那些他给了钱的人就知道了。
3. Make money your god and it will plague you like the devil.
如果你把钱奉为上帝，它就会像魔鬼一样折磨你。
4. Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver.
钱只是个工具，它能带你到任何你想去的地方，却永远不会让你成为司机。
5. Money will buy you a fine dog, but only love can make it wag its tail.
有钱就能买只可爱的狗，但是有爱才能让它对你摇尾巴。


没钱是万万不能的：
1. Money, if it does not bring you happiness, will at least help you be miserable in comfort.
钱如果没有给你带来幸福，至少也能让你在舒适中痛苦。
2. Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is. Fortunately, I love money.
钱可不是世界上最重要的，世界上最重要的是爱。幸运的是：我爱钱。
3. If you would know the value of money, go and try to borrow some.
如果你想知道钱的价值，就试试去借钱吧。
4. A penny saved is a penny earned.
省钱就是挣钱。
5. The safest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it in your pocket.
最安全的让钱翻倍的方法就是把它折起来，放在口袋里。
6. Money is the opposite of the weather. Nobody talks about it, but everybody does something about it.
金钱和天气正好相反：没有人谈论它，而人人都在做着和它有关的事儿。
7. It doesn't matter if you're black or white...the only color that really matters is green.
你是白人还是黑人并不重要，唯一重要的颜色是绿色。


关于钱的其他真相：
1. A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it.
银行就是只有你能证明不是真的需要钱，它才会借给你钱的地方。
2. Money often costs too much.
钱太贵了。
3. Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.
太多的人花费他们还没有挣到的钱，去买他们不想要的东西，来取悦他们不喜欢的人。
4. If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
种花生，得猴子。
